Report to: Head of Marketing
Location: Dublin based (at least 3 days in office
Overview of Role:
- The role covers a mix of inbound and outbound responsibilities
- The Sales Development Representative will qualify new Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), engage in outbound prospecting to generate new leads, pitch the FlowForma Process Automation platform and develop leads into Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs)
Main Responsibilities:
- Follow up with assigned MQLs in a timely, professional manner.
- Engage in outbound prospecting activities (cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach) to identify new leads and build a pipeline.
- Research prospects and MQLs online (social media, websites) to identify needs, news, and mutual connections.
- Understand lead needs and identify decision-makers.
- Contact MQLs and prospects via email/phone/LinkedIn to establish rapport, set meetings, qualify them, and BANT opportunities before handing off to the relevant Territory Manager.
- Collaborate with Marketing Campaign Managers, providing feedback and brainstorming creative follow-ups.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events as needed.
Experience/Skills:
- At least one year experience as a Sales Development Representative, with a track record of achieving sales quotas (SaaS sales an advantage)
- Fluency in English as well as a valid working visa for Ireland, are essential for this role
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Outbounding experience using intent data is a plus
- Metric and deadline-driven
- Creative problem-solving ability
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organization
- Experience with CRM systems, social selling, and outbound prospecting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Education:
- A relevant degree, or relevant experience
Knowledge of:
- MS Office applications
- Social sales platforms
- CRM (HubSpot knowledge an advantage)
- Sales database platforms (Cognism an advantage)
Other information/circumstances:
- Flexibility in regard to working hours where necessary
- Flexibility in terms of business travel (around Ireland, UK and internationally if required)
