We're Hiring: Senior Software Engineer

We are taking the next step in our product innovation with ambitious plans to expand the scope of our offering and bring it to a wider audience. We are looking for a senior software engineer to join our research and development team.

As a senior team member, you will have the opportunity to develop the next generation of FlowForma’s SaaS application using an up-to-date technology stack. If you have 7+ years’ experience designing and building SaaS solutions, then we want to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Designing and developing new modules within our SaaS solution.
• Serve as a technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of the development team.
• Design, develop and maintain software components anywhere in the software stack.
• Root cause analysis for software issues and design and development of permanent technical solutions.
• Remain current on new technologies so you can input into key decisions on application design.
• Assist in task planning, estimation, and scheduling.
• Mentor Software Engineers to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice and coaching.
• Manage the technical roadmap through regular updates and prioritisation based on product direction and technology trends.
• Ensure appropriate documentation is in place to support the transfer of knowledge on key modules.
• Work with the R&D leadership team to develop and grow our R&D capabilities.

Required experience & characteristics:

• Full stack developer with an excellent understanding of the Microsoft Azure technology stack and JavaScript frameworks.
  Strong OOP Skills.
• Multi-year experience designing and building solutions using some of the following:
  • C#
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript
  • ASP.NET
  • .Net Core
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Web Apps
  • Azure SQL
  • Event Grid
  • Message Bus
  • Cosmos DB/MongoDB
  • Angular/React/Vue
  • REST API
  • Experience with security standards like OpenID and OAuth.
  • Experience building applications using SOLID and Domain Driven Design principles.
  • Track record of designing and building scalable, secure, and robust SaaS applications.
  • Knowledge of secure coding best practices with a good understanding of OWASP top 10.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for technology with a desire to keep up to date.

  • Great written and verbal communication skills to make sure your ideas are well communicated and understood.

Education:
